My daughter has been battling with different types of formulas since birth. I breastfed her for a month, my milk wasn’t keeping up with her demand. So I decided to supplement with formula, the first was enfamil and she had really painful gas and was crying non-stop. Then I decided to try Enfamil Gentlease and she wouldn’t even drink it. Alimentum formula So I tried Similac Sensitive and she was doing o.k. on it she maybe handled it for about 2 months until she completely refused to take a bottle. Then I decided to try Gerber protect, gentle and soy…she wouldn’t drink Gerber protect at all.

Gerber Soy she could handle but, it made her extremely constipated and the ped. gave me a laxative to give her and it did not help. Well anyways i switched backto similac sensitive and she was fine other than her bowels still not normal due to the soy! Then she went back to crying and refusing her bottle…meanwhile through this process I have been contacting her pediatrician about this issue and got nothing back… Similac Alimentum I then spoke to the dietician at the WIC office and they have non-contract formulas you can get through a perscription from your pediatrician.
